| The protective case needs of K-12 laptop schools vary greatly from those of an adult. Our research has indicated that schools have the most sucess (less damage, kids actually love and use the solutions) when using a highly protective, dedicated laptop sleeve that is designed to not only protect the computer fulltime, but also resonates aesthetically with students. A protective case is of little use if a student refuses to use it. Larger, more generic backpacks, often experience more wear and tear and do not allow the students to reflect their individuality or address their own specific carrying needs. A dedicated sleeve can often still be placed into a backpack or carried separately. When placed into a backpack, it is extremely important that the sleeve have the proper internal structure to withstand irregular pressures (from foreign objects in the backpack) on the broad flat surfaces of the case. This greatly reduces the number of cracked screens that often otherwise occur. All Higher Ground solutions incorporate a rigid, padded perimeter frame as well as corrugated plastic panels on both the front and back of the case for added screen protection. Will my Laptop fit?
The dimensions of the
computer compartments are listed along with each product description.
If you have a specific computer that does not seem to be a good
fit for any of our currently listed products, please let us
know. Depending on the size of your program and your needs,
we can often manufacture custom sizes with 90 days lead time.
What
size are the other pockets?
Laptrap: 2 side pockets - 11.25"
x 7" x 1" each (the 1" dim will expand a bit
though)
What
if my laptop doesn't fit the way I like or if I decide the case
won't work for me?
We offer a 30-day return policy during
which time you may return your order for any reason at all.
How
long will it take before my order ships?
If your order is placed before 1pm (eastern
time), we make every effort to ship it the same day. In some
rare cases, the order will ship the next day. If you are at
all concerned with the timing of your shipment due to upcoming

Will
these cases actually make me cooler?
In many cases yes, but we obviously can
not control your ability to actually be cool....but you will
definitely be cooler than your friends who don't have a portable
office. Our cases will, however, allow for cooler operation
of your laptop via our non-slip riser
pads, which provide better airflow below your computer.
So, if you are only worried about your lap being cooler, the
answer is definitely yes!
Will
these cases only work on my lap?
No. You may use all of our products on
your lap or desktop surface equally well. In fact, you do not
have to leave the computer in the case at all times. You may
remove it as needed or work from the case directly when most
convenient.
